Town will give fitness tests to keepers Lewis Price and Shane Supple, and full-back David Wright prior to Saturday's home game with Derby County. Price hurt his foot at Sheffield Wednesday on Monday, Supple has a slight groin strain and Wright has been suffering with a virus.

Town midfielder Sylvain Legwinski has slammed sacked Fulham boss Chris Coleman, claiming the Welshman should have been dismissed long ago. The Frenchman is highly critical of his former manager and reveals that he took legal action against his former club prior to joining the Blues last summer.

Town have announced the names of this summer's new academy scholars. The seven youngsters will start full-time at Playford Road in July, although many of them have already played for the U18s and Jack Ainsley has even come on as a sub for the reserves on two occasions.

Boss Jim Magilton has revealed that Blackburn striker Franny Jeffers could return to the Blues before the end of the season. The one-time England international went back to Ewood Park earlier in the month after suffering a hamstring tear in the home game with Southend.

Striker Danny Haynes is expected to win his second England U19 cap this evening when Brian Eastick's side take on Turkey in a friendly at Doncaster Rovers' Keepmoat Stadium. Haynes, who played his 50th Town game at Luton on Saturday, won his first cap in last month's 4-1 victory over Poland.
